My method is to see processes as they truly are. Mapping 'as-is' (AS IS), designing 'to-be' (TO BE), optimisation and digitisation. Not automation for its own sake — targeted intervention where chaos costs the company real money.
No monitoring, no protocols, no clear ownership. Problems are discovered from clients, or after damage is already done.
Vendors do as they please, no oversight. Unclear what you're paying for and what you get. Budget grows, problems remain.
Everyone does it their own way, no documentation. When a key employee leaves, all the knowledge goes with them. Processes exist only in people's heads.
Implemented CRM or ERP — nobody uses it. The system exists but has no effect. Money spent, staff work around it.
